This is vintage pre-owned stainless steel flatware:
BRAND: NATIONAL STAINLESS CO. NASCO N S CO
PATTERN: BLACK ROSE slim neck, broad flat satin handle, square black embossed design near the handle tip.
This is 1 sugar spoon, backstamp "STAINLESS BLACK ROSE" and 1 place/dinner knife, has a tiny bend at the blade tip, backstamp "NATIONAL STAINLESS JAPAN". I'm not sure if the spoon is real NATIONAL STAINLESS. It looks like it, and if you have that vintage pattern I bet you won't be able to tell the difference. The low price for the 2 pieces reflects my uncertainty as to brand.
Other than the tiny bend in the tip of the knife blade, this is in good gently used condition with no damage, shows normal signs of use and stacking. p107
